Recently, the re-evaluation results of the works of oil painting exhibition of the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts were announced. “One Moment of the Pier” by Wang Mingqiang and “Yun Shui Yao” by Li Ning were selected on display in the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts, both of which are works by teachers of the School of Art. Works by graduate students, namely, “The First Snow” by Cai Tao, “The Third One of We Were Happy That Day” by Liu Guangshuai and Wang Chenlu, “Morning Fog of Fishing Port” by Qiu Jian were also selected.
Held every five years, the National Exhibition of Fines Arts, abbreviated as NEFA, a comprehensive national art exhibition with the largest scale, the widest range of participation, the largest variety of works, is the most influential and authoritative art exhibition across the country. Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, China Federation of Literary and Art Circles ,and China Artists Association, the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts was launched at the end of 2018. 35 oil paintings were selected for the 13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Shandong Province. 5 works by teachers and graduates of the School of Art were in them, accounting for 1/7 of the selected oil paintings in Shandong Province.
